Denver, CO – Local Mortgage Loan Originator, Giuseppe Battaglioli with Hallmark Home Mortgage in Denver has been awarded the prestigious Top 1% of Mortgage Originators Award for 2014. Given by Mortgage Executive Magazine, the yearly accolade is awarded to the top Mortgage Originators in the United States who have hit or exceeded $30 million in volume. Mortgage Executive Magazine receives about 1,000 award nominations each year, but only 700 Loan Originators across the nation qualify for a spot on the list. In 2014, only 27 Loan Originators received the award in the state of Colorado, including Battaglioli.
Battaglioli has been in the mortgage industry for the past 13 years working side by side with his mentor, Dave Gallegos, Sr. Vice President of Hallmark Home Mortgage. “It’s a privilege to work every day with someone as dedicated to his craft as Giuseppe. Born in Italy, Battaglioli moved to Los Angeles, California with his family when he was in 4th grade. Although medical school was on the horizon after he graduated from University of California-San Diego with a major in biology and a minor in economics, Battaglioli was looking for a way to quickly propel his career upon moving to Denver. After sitting down for an interview with Gallegos in 2002, a new path was forged for Battaglioli.
For more than a decade, Battaglioli has worked to build a solid client base, which includes repeat referrals from Realtors and past clients. With the help from the dedicated and experienced team at Hallmark Home Mortgage that handles a lot of the finite details, Battaglioli is able to spend more time with his clients and Realtor partners, allowing him to provide outstanding service as well as provide him with business growth opportunities. Battaglioli balances his hard work and long hours with the immense joys of family life. He and his wife, Maureen have 3 children together, twins who are turning 5 and an 8 month old son. In his free time, Battaglioli enjoys spending his time with his family doing outdoor activities including camping and skiing. He also enjoys woodworking where making pieces of furniture for his family are special holiday projects.

The Top 100 Mortgage Originator list debuted in 1995 in Mortgage Originator Magazine. Mortgage Executive Magazine expanded the rankings to include the top 1% of the hundreds of thousands mortgage originators in the U.S. in 2011. The minimum eligibility criteria are a total “personal” production of at least $30 million in 2014.
